A little late, but worth sharing!
Back in the first week of February 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to train at the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit MORU in Bangkok, focusing on antimicrobial resistance.

This training was generously funded and co-organized by the Wellcome Connecting Science Learning and Training, and I can confidently say that it’s been the most impactful training I’ve attended to date.
From wet lab techniques to dry lab bioinformatics, we went from Nanopore sequencing at the bench to metagenomic analysis in Linux as it covered critical aspects of infectious disease genomics and AMR research.
Every trainer brought deep expertise and passion to the sessions, making each day both challenging and inspiring. Sharing a few snapshots from the training side of this unforgettable trip.
