Hello
I am Anas Bin Harun, originally from Bangladesh. I am a veterinarian and currently focused on life science research in the USA. My research work involves microbiome and gut health, antimicrobial resistance, molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases, and genomics of zoonotic bacteria and parasites leveraging my wet and dry lab skills.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

2026-Present
Graduate Research Assistant
The Oladokun Laboratory, TAMU
I am working on dysbiosis index of poultry to be able to quantify the gut health using microbiome studies.
2024-2025
Zoonosis Research Laboratory, GAU
Graduate Research Assistant
I have actively contributed to research projects focusing on antimicrobial use, resistance, and molecular epidemiology and genomics, gaining valuable insights into the field of zoonotic diseases in One Health framework.
2022-2023
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Zoonosis Research Laboratory, GAU
My undergraduate research experience included molecular epidemiology of apicomplexan parasites, e.g., Cryptosoridium, Toxoplasma, etc.
